Certification is the AAA’s highest designation. Prior to her career as an appraiser of fine and decorative art, she held curatorial, educational and administrative positions at major American museums, including The Kimbell Art Museum, The Dallas Art Museum, The Peabody Essex Museum and The Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College, serving as the Director of the latter institution from 1991-1996. In addition, she is currently the owner of Anne Frances Moore Fine Art, a dealership specializing in American portrait painting. With an M.A. in art history, fifteen years experience in major American museums and a Certificate in Appraisal Studies from New York University, she is well established as a connoisseur and well equipped to assess the value of a wide variety of fine and decorative art, including paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculpture, furniture, silver, ceramics, glass, carpets and objets de virtù.
