With thirty years of experience in the study of fine and decorative art, her connoisseurship skills are well honed and her network and her resources invaluable. Integrity and discretion govern the buying process. Fees are by the hour, never as a percentage of a purchase price.
Selling
Anne Frances Moore can assist a client with the sale of a single item or an entire collection. After a careful inspection, she will determine the Fair Market Value, that is, the price that the property would sell for on the open market. She will then propose a marketing strategy by thoroughly researching the market history of like items in various market environments. After creating a market portfolio, she will present her clients property to appropriate buyers and promote it among her extensive contacts among dealers and auction houses. The fee for this service is generally a percentage of the sale price, with lower percentages for higher value items.
Collections Management
Anne Frances Moore can research and document works of fine and decorative art in a client's collection, on an hourly fee basis, presenting the client with a succinct report describing the nature of the item in question, its history, and how it compares with like objects. |
